To ensure that Viano MARCO POLO handling is maintained at virtually the same level, the rear axle load is monitored permanently and the air suspension level adjusted automatically. This is particularly important when pulling a trailer or caravan. The air suspension system also enables you to raise or lower the rear axle by up to 50 mm at the touch of a button in order to compensate for an uneven parking position.
